Project Description
Resonantly driving superconductivity in monolayer FeSe superconductors
Requirement
The student will participate in the growth of monolayer FeSe/STO superconductors and take lead in the transfer of FeSe/STO membranes onto a photonic crystal cavity. The student will also participate in the time-resolved photoemission spectroscopy experiment to observe how the cavity modifies the superconducting state in FeSe. Background in solid-state physics and ultrahigh vacuum is helpful. The most important requirement is a strong interest in experimental science.
