My research focuses on sports biomechanics, human motion analysis, and physics-based simulation of human movement. I combine experimental motion-capture techniques with computational modeling to understand how athletes generate, transfer, and optimize forces during performance.
By integrating biomechanical data with physics-driven simulations, my work aims to reveal the underlying principles of efficient and safe movement, identify performance-limiting factors, and develop evidence-based strategies for training and injury prevention.
This interdisciplinary approach not only advances scientific understanding of human movement but also supports practical applications in sports technology, athlete monitoring, and individualized performance enhancement.
Preferred background/major: Physics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, sport science (one of these areas)
